Elemental enhancements

I was wondering when it comes to enhancements sticks for weapons, can you upgrade the enhancement once it is done or is it a once for all enhancement.  For instance if I add a lvl 1 stick to a sword can I later add a lvl 2 stick to the same sword to overwrite the first one?  I know you can only have one per weapon but was wondering if they can be replaced.  Thanks.

yes.

The enhancement that is added last will overwrite the previous enhancement.

isn't it possible to have multiple kinds of magic damage on weapons? like acid and fire on the same weapon?

Yes, but you can only have one permanent type of elemental damage on weapons, if you apply an elemental rod, though you can always ask for people to cast spells on your weapon, adding other types of damage. (sonic, fire, etc.)
