Eschews Material

When it comes to Eschews material, If i'm a lvl 6 cleric and i'm able to get Eschews material I, If I were to suddenly become a fighter, would I still be able to take Eschews material I? or can I only take Eschews material I while I'm taking Cleric levels?

you can take it as long as you have the ability to cast the appropriate spells. However, why would you suddenly be a fighter?

Well its a Cleric of Vorax. The fighter levels wouldn't be known to others, its just to help show that he has good skill in battle, as he would be better at battle if he was a cleric of Vorax, its purely a Role playing thing, and the levels aren't the levels I would be changing, it was just the easiest way I could think of showing my example of Eschews material.
