To date, only my elf characters have lost SS's.  Tristan died about fifty times by level 11 without a loss.

LOL and I thought 1 SS loss for every ten deaths was good luck :\

To date, Kurn has died 29 times by 25th lvl.  I believe at least a dozen of those were between 1-4.
