Is taking Luck of Heroes at start considered cheesy?
    « on: September 28, 2005, 12:03:00 pm »
I was thinking of taking  Luck of Heroes as a starting feat for a halfling rogue character I'm developing for submission, as it seems like such a good feat (+1 to all saving throws), but is this considered cheesy without giving a really good reason why in the bio? Thanks

No, not really--at least I don't think it is... It could be a 'bloodline' thing just as well as luck of heroes... *shrugs*

I don't think so... I mean, there are some that people that are just.. well, luckier than others....  I'm not one of them....

I don't think its cheesy.  I think very few people acctually take any of the "only at first level" feats.

heh the only time I've taken them myself is when playing a human character with the extra feat they get an all.

Edit: This feat will NOT improve your chances of finding an emerald however.

*raises hand* I took, never regretted it since... helps bolster those weak saves :)
