Happy birthday to Daniel Scott, the man who created the PnP gameworld Layonara back in the day... Over the course of many years, it has now become far more than a Campaign Setting, having evolved into a living and breathing gameworld... And a community, though which we've all found both friendships and sadness - though many more of the former!

People have come and gone from this server, this community, and rarely, I think, does anyone really appreciate what L has done for all of us... And what he's given up to do it. Thousands and thousands of dollars, many more hours spent playing, or building, or testing, or just dealing with people. I doubt there are many waking hours that Leanthar spends, where his thoughts do not center around this place that I'm sure has given him as much grief as joy.

While we don't always think about how much L really gives, and how much he cares about the people here... That giving, that caring... It's there.

I hope your birthday brings a well-deserved respite from the constant worries of administration.
