    They're acctually only donating 100,000$ regardless of how many more are lit. Thats what the fine print about being amazed by the response it got is about.

    Yeah pretty impressive. The fine print sounds like a cover to me. I can see them sitting around at a meeting, "Oh crap, 1.7 million people lit the candle... we only thought there'd be like 50,000... quick make it sound like we were only ever gonna donate 100,000 and praise people for giving so much support so they feel good about it."

    I wouldn't mind $100,000.
