how do i make my charecter associate with my public CD keyu that i entered in today so that i can use the send messages stuff ? the only stuff written that ive read talked of entering the public CD key, ive done that. now what ?

once you entered the public key you go into the server status and click on a character's name. if you have entered your public key character the name, there should appear a "send letter" link. Click on that and type your message.

i entered the public cd key , but still wont let me send a letter it tells me i have no charecters to send a letter from.

That problem is most likely something to do with the ' mark in your character name:

My suggestion would be to file a dispute/request grievance to ask the team to get rid of ' in your character's name.
