Enchanting

I am new to the server and i was looking at the crafting stuff and i want to be a enchanter do i need to put skill points into anything?

Crafting is based on the relavent abilty scores and your level in the craft.  Skills won't help in crafting nor will any feats.  Your best bet is to read the players handbook and look in the CNR forum.
