I used to play it ALOT. I even got a part time job at the comic store where I played. I was there enought they thought they should pay me. But then I moved...moved again... and once again...and Ican't even tell you what expansions are out.

Hmmm, I bet my 4 boxes of cards have some value...need to check that out.

I still play MTG, not too often though, but i love it. That's the main reason why i loved the card game at the Inn. ;)

          4th and 5th edition??!

Does that mean that 1st edition magic cards might be valuable now?

Yup Talan, some are worth over 500 dollars (even more here on Europe, hehe).

Check their prices here ---->  http://www.cardkingdom.com

Yeah I played MTG for some time, but I quit it because the people that were playing were a serious pain in the ***....they were boring, annoying and whiney above all.

I looked at the prices in cardkingdom and it turns out I still have some pretty valuable stuff :)

The problem is when people turn a game that is meant to be for fun, into their lifestyle and true competition... it's just sad when that happens, and unfortunately i've played with people like that, made me feel sorry for them.

Playing in tournaments is nice and the feeling is great, but nothing beats rounding up 3 or more friends and play lots of game modes. ;)

          HOLY CRAP!

Every card from my starter deck is worth 4-5 bucks, and while the most valuable card that I could remember having was a $40 mana short... still... thats a heck of a lot more than i thought they were worth. *hopes neither of his younger siblings have lost them or something*

Best Price guide to use is on Magictraders.com they have an up to date list and its run on an E-bay engine.
That means you see what people are paying for real not some lame magazine price guide.

Magic was alright, but being the conspiracy nut I am, Illuminati owns my soul.  It REALLY helps gameplay if you have a running play by play done in the voice of Dale Gribble. ;)
