Recommended

I'm feeling curious so I figured I'd ask: How many of you just hit the "Recommended" button when levelling up and needing to choose feats and allocate skill points?

The selections that result from pressing the button are usually not even close to the best ones available, build wise nor RP wise. Also with skill points NWN usually places the points into the crafting skills which are not used in Layonara.

I would recommend that every time you level, take the extra few minutes to think what skills and abilities your character would appreciate and invest time on.

I never use it; i find that I can pick much better skills, or at least skills i want for that character
    I also recommend picking your own skills and feats hehe

Ummmmm... my little vote that I always use the recommend button makes it clear that perhaps I need to spend more time figuring out where to spend my leveling points. I figured a fighter, it was pretty straight forward.
  Sigh... so much to learn, so little time to figure it all out.

On my old old server LoA (Lands of Acheron, quite a few players from there now play here... aliester being the most popular probably) Anyways, there was this non RPing powergamer named Samantha who's build was ALL recommended... she got to level 28 or so (like I said, powergaming ~_~) and lol seriously she had some of the worst feats ever. She was all fighter, eeeevvveeerrything was from recomended button.

I vaguely remember Samantha. Couldn't RP at all, if I recall. Smelled like bad oysters too. *shakes head* Not pleasant company.
