Sounds like you have the log rotater installed, but haven't turned logging on for NWN... make sure clientchatlogging is set to "1" in the nwnplayer.ini file

[Game Options]
Memory Level=1
Memory Access=1
TooltipDelay uSec=100000
Enable FloatyTextFeedback=1
Hide SecondStoryTiles=0
Single Player ItemLevelRestrictions=0
Single Player Enforce Legal Characters=0
Client CPU Affinity=-1
ClientEntireChatWindowLogging=1

if the bolded line isn't there, just type it exactly as seen here.

I was just checking my nwnplayer notepad against whats written above and I was missing these lines.

Memory level=1
hide Second story tiles=0
Client CPU Affinity=-1
Enable floaty text feedback=1
Single player itemlevelrestrictions=0
single playerEnforce Legal characters=0

I added them in except the "Single player" lines or do i need these as well to get the log rotator working. I already had the line "ClientEntirechatwindowLogging=1"
what do the other lines do anyways?
There can be only One.

Memory level - Unsure...I forget if this one sets the gore level or if it's Memory Access that does.
Hide Second Story Tiles - causes buildings and trees and such so they don't block your view
Client CPU Affinity - For multi-CPU/multi-core systems, NWN can run on one CPU or another rather than what what the system wants to do by default.
Enable Floaty Text Feedback - When you see that text that floats upward, that's what they mean.
Single Player Item Level Restrictions - Enforces level restrictions for use/equipping of items in the single-player game
Single Player Enforce Legal Characters - disallows characters that have been edited my non-mechanical means to get stats, skills, feats and such in the single-player game.
