Size of the world of Layonara

What is the in-game world size approximately? (in miles, if you please)

tried to find some info on it in the lore/forums, but I came across nothing.

The unit of measure for Layonara is the [LORE]Statute Mile[/LORE]. The [LORE]MapsOfLayonara[/LORE] has continental maps with a scale for each map.

I'm not really sure what you're asking for in terms of size of the "in-game world" though?  Are you asking the surface area? The equatorial circumference?  Or are you specifically asking how much of the world is covered in game?

The surface area is what I was lookin' for, in scale square miles. Sorry for not being specific.

Well I'm not sure anyone has ever officially mentioned it but I'll take a shot with a quick calculation.

If we were to give the circumference of the planet at about three times the length of Alindor (6,000 statute miles, 18,000 miles looking at the scale of the Alindor map) we get around 18,000 statute miles (54,000 miles) then the radius would be about 2,866 statute miles (8,598 miles)

Assuming it were a perfect sphere that would put the surface area as 4(pi)r² so we'd be looking at 103 million statute miles or 928 million miles.

That is ridiculously huge! I love it! Seems like a world I can actually throw together a group and go exploring, as opposed to just stayin' in an area and farming enemies. Man, I'm so excited to play this game! NWN has been one of my all time favorite engines, so, I think this just may be the perfect game for me!

Yeah, I can't find  my copy of NWN. I'm going to have to order a copy from Best Buy, since they're out of stock at all the stores even remotely close to me. I wish there was a direct download, where I could just buy a key online.
