Ear Question ?
« on: March 03, 2007, 10:44:41 am »
I have just previously gotten a character approved, but the ear I requested to learn with it was not approved. Is there anouther way for my character to get the ear without learning it. Like, since I havent created the character can I go back and edit the bio and make it so their is more information so I can also get the ear accepted ?

Once a character is approved, made and in play, the only way to add language skills is through a combination of Role play and character development journal entires focusing on learning the language in question from another player(s). You cannot learn languages from NPC's and familiars.

If the character was never created and played you may resubmit an appended bio for further consideration.

If this is the character I am thinking of (that I approved this morning), you can appeal the ear denial by posting an updated bio like Minerva said in the post above this one.

I think that perhaps Rowana and Minerva missed the intent of the question.  The character has been approved and the drow ear denied.  The actual character has not been created or played in the game yet.  I believe the question is, may the player go back and redo his bio and resubmit it before he creates the character in order to obtained the desired ear, in this case drow.  See his application under recent approval for the character named Scout.

It is possible, though, be warned that the drow ear isn't the easiest one to get approved for.
