Where did my bow go?!

Here is the problem,I went to my oxe outside the hlint craft house and got my oak bow from my oxe pack.  It said the bow was in my inventory at the bottom right of the screen and i looked for it, but could not find it.  I again checked in my oxe pack and it was not there either... I dont know where my oak long bow went, but i would like it back some how lol...

Stupid question. Did your bow not get moved to the next screen of your ox pack?
  Stuff wont stay in the same place where you placed it on your oxe pack.

might not be related but is just good for everyone to know:

If you try to load more stuff onto your ox than it can hold, sometimes if you put multiple items on over the limit and/or its laggy, it takes a while for it to place them all back into your inventory.  If you load your ox pack back on the ox before all the items are loaded back into your inventory you will lose any items that are qued up to get put back in your inventory but havent been put back yet.

o crap thats what i think happened.  Now that i think about it, i did load the oxe pack on pretty quickly... I bet that's it... Well i hope i get another link to post the request to get my bow back lol sense that one up above didnt work...
