I've played for 4 days now. I like it here. That is not the problem. I guess it just seems that people are not havin fun because they are to concerned with what other people are doing or concerned with what others think of them. I just wanna play and have fun on a great server.

Hey Rehevkor, it gets better. I was where you were yesterday. I tried to craft didn't roll over a 3 in 12 chances. Everyone I tried to talk to was busy. I was spending more on healing then i was making. I was ready to leave. But what a difference a day makes. Firstly I got in a good group. Remember that any lvl can travel together here and not kill the xps. So you can be in groups with people of higher oor lower lvl. From this group I met their friends. So now I have more people that I feel more comfortable with. Second, I started to complete quests and get a lvl. And ya know what it feels good to lvl here. It is an accomplishment unlike other servers where people get to lvl 20 in 3 or 4 days. And ya start to get a piece of gear here and piece there and now you're not gettin stomped quite as bad. And for the record monks are the toughest class at low lvls. They start getting good at about lvl 10-12 and by lvl 20 are badass. Just keep at it, it does get better.

Thanx Ettin, I did. I needed some specific answers. It was mainly about Joining an organization. And it was questions like, Is the organization common knowledge? Whats the best way to comunicate my interest? Will it work with my background? BTW the group in ques. is the Pranzis Officer Corps. If anybody has any info, it would be much appreciated.

I really like it here. The world is great the history, the detail everything is first rate. But I'm beginning to be afraid to be myself here. I replied to a post tryin to give another new player alittle pick me up. In my reply I mentioned the satisfaction I got when I lvl'd. Then someone posts right after me that lvl'g is not important. Then why is the #1 answer in the better RP poll more xps for RP. If lvl'ing isn't that important why do you want xps? Now I see posts about running in town so now I'm thinking who's gonna get bowed up because I run by them to try to catch up to my group. I try to stay in char as best I can. But I see Elves hanging with dark elves thats ok but running in town is a major issue? And there are other things. Being new, I try to talk to as many people as I can. But most give me a "Hello, sorry but I gotta run". I came up with a path for char. to follow. Th e original GM I ran it by thought it was a good idea. So I try to do CDQ quest deal and get "I'll think about it" I want to be in GM events but the majority are either to high a lvl, or start too late or too earlyy for someone on the east coast, or are filled.
Sorry, guess I just needed to vent a bit. But if most off you think I'm way off base let me know. Then I will know I am in the wrong place.

Hello father, I hope this letter finds you and mother well. I'm sorry it has taken so long to write but it seems I was constantly on the move. I will be writing regularly keeping you up to date on whats going on in my life. I have made it as far as a small town Hlint. Only to find out the caravan lost my luggage. Unfortunately I had to spend most of my traveling coin on replacement gear. So as of this moment I have been finding odd jobs around town, hopefully I can save enough coin to complete my journey to Pranzis. Speaking of which, when I hand this letter to the postmaster I will also hand him my application to the acadamy. I hope that General Dannode'dwa's plan of sending young soldiers to live and fight alongside other nations will pay dividends in securing allainces and allowing an exchange of tactics and information. But that is not for me to worry about.
Father, I miss my homelands. It is the smallest things I miss most. Most notably the sound of our native tongue. Common is spoken here almost exclusively, even by our kinfolk. And if you can beleive this the darkbreed seems to thrive here. Tho the dealings I have had have been non combative and almost amiable, I still feel dirty when in their presence. And the humans and dwarves all they seem to do is rape the land for financial gain. However in keeping with my mission I have acted with restraint and decorum. Tho I wish to return home my mission comes first. And my return would bring shame to your name, even more then my joining the Gurtha'dol. I know it has been difficult for a man of your rank having a son who is a lowly sergeant. But I told you long ago I prefer the life of soldier to the politics of court. Be that as it is I will soldier on and successfully complete my mission.

I have been able to play for a couple of nites now and enjoy the server more and more. I would be playin more but am busy trying to get a grasp on the geograthy, history and politics of this very well developed world. Fro what I have been able to read I think I have come up with a long term outline of what I want my char to accomplish some CDQ's etc. Is there someone I can PM this outline to? Just to make sure it is within the realm of possibility. I just don't want to start out on a path with RP just to have to abandon it because I missed something.

Hey all. Just joined. Played for a bit got my gear learned the layout of the town. And got smacked around abit. Really like what I have seen so far. Was wonderin if there are scheduled events for us new guys. It will let us find a crew that can advance together etc. I may have been unlucky but almost everyone I saw was Impossible to me. Which stands to reason, there is a certain stigma attached to bein lvl 1 hehhehe. So people want to get rid of it ASAP. So they won't be milling around town. Or if there are any brandy new players and wanna get a crew together give me a holler.
