Alright, I guess it would be worth in long run anyway. Maybe for a CDQ I'd have a dungeon filled with nasty suprises and dead ends only I could get around. Thanks for everyones opinions.

You should know that this world is based on RP above everything else. This isn't just a hack and slash rpg either. You have to work very hard for your levels. If you can live with that then you'll have a grand time playing.

Sorry if I come across as a complainer. I'm just looking at the XP I need and I was a little bit overwhelmed. The main reason I want to level so I can enter the prestige class of a shadowdancer (if allowed). And I'll always remember the Ogre killing contest we had the night before. I think my perception of Layonara Online is now changed from what I originally thought it to be (as in any other online RPGs), and after reading these replies here and in other similar topics (I'm not the only one  I feel I don't have to power level to compete with others. Thanks mates.

Well I made an account on LORE and under my preferences I put the CD Key. Hopefully we can fix this. Thanks for your guys help so far. Sorry if I seem ungrateful I'm just a little bit annoyed how I messed up in the first place.

I just tried it again and now it says I've been banned. I invested a lot of time reading over the player guide to develope my character. It's a shame I can't play. I'm very upset. Still, I hope someone can help turn this around.

Hello all I was wondering if it was at all possible to have a PC enter the assassin prestige class if it fit his character (No it's not Panros but a new one in mind)? My idea is that the character views himself useful for being an assassin and nothing else because that is all he knows. Exiled from his home he struggles to rediscover his identity and accept who he was and has now become. Plus the death attacks would be nice against the creatures.

Hello everyone. As of now I'm playing as rogue with my PC Panros. However, skills that I would normally consider primary to invest in during the single player campaigns don't seem of much use in the world of Layonara. Now, keep this in mind, my PC is only level 5 so maybe I haven't come to the point where the skills may be useful. I shall now list the skills and people with experience should tell me their opinions on ivesting points into them.
Lore - Lets face it. In the single player campaign (spc) I use this skill all of the time. As a rogue I'm opening the chests and I have to see the value of the loot. I don't put this skill higher than 15 off and online normally becuase there are others who have it better. I haven't seen a single thing I have to identify yet.
Persuasion - This is a must have skill for a rogue. I max it at 15. How else are you going to get extra gold for risking you neck? I haven't seen a persausion choice with any NPC I've ran into yet.
Lock Pick/ Disable Trap - Come on now, if a rogue doesn't invest in these skill what's the point of being a rogue. These skills I max from 15 - 20. I've only come across 1 trap and 3 locked doors that could be picked during my travels.
So here are my biggest beefs with these skills. I need to know if I should invest in them. Are there places in Layonara that are filled with traps, need things identified, or picked and disabled? If there isn't I'm sort of let down. Normally online us rogues are a key part of the parts. We are scouts, a tool, and most of the time party leaders. I'll be in a party and the fighter as well as the wizard will be rusing in front of me in a "dungeon." If there aren't a lot of traps, locks, need for scouting there should be.
That's my beef so far with these skills. Skills that normally define a rogue that I haven't found to be usefull enough. I hope people give me valid opinions and I'm personally hoping that there will be opportunities in the future where my party won't even think of entering a room without me checking it first.

I haven't had this problem until today. Upon connecting to Layonara West server and after picking my PC and hitting play I recieve an error message saying somethign about there is no disc please insert disc. So I hit the X on the upper right hand corner to get rid of it, then it comes back. I repeat this 50 times or so until it is gone. Then I get into the game world. I can move, chat, do everything fine, until I leave to a new area where the game has to load. Then I recieve the error message again. And even if I don't do anything, every two minutes the eror message pops up. Has anyone had this problem before? Someone mentioned the disc might be scratched. But it has not been removed from the DVD drive for days, not to mention it worked at about 12am (US Eastern time). Anyone know what's up? Thanks for your time. I'm going to try and restart the computer to see if it fixes the problem. I'll let you know if it works.

The restart worked. That was weird.

I just wanted to say that the experience that night was so awesome. An Elemental bursting from the ground. That was amazing. I hope to learn more about these tremors and the relation to the Elementals. Anyway I hope other people had as much fun as I did. And if anyone want's to help me get out of the Siloworne Cave (spelling) I'll take it. A few pictures of the people involved

Hello I was wondering if anyone could help me to make my profile on the LORE site. I'm understand a lot of the commands (their similar to html code) but what I really need is the format so it's similar to everyone elses profile. I mean, I could do it my way but I'd like to keep it consistent with everyone elses profile (I'm not trying to be a showoff). Thanks in advance.

I seem to be gaining experience as a role player very quickly in the world of Layonara. However, my character Panros doesn't seem to be going anywhere experience wise as of late. The first four levels flew by, however, I think I've been working too long to gain the fifth (it takes 20000 xp to level up to 5). So I was wondering if anyone could give me tips to speed up the leveling process. I know patients is one of them, but at the rate Panros is leveling, I might only be level 9 by the end of the semester, lol. Thanks in advance.

When I go to connect to west.layonara.com using the password layoplayer it makes a failed connection
because the password is incorrect. The thing is I'm using the server and password that was assigned to me
when my character was approved. The same thing happens when i use the Layonara Launcher. Does anyone know
the solution to my problem? Thanks for your time.
