Connecting to west.layonara.com , incorrect password

When I go to connect to west.layonara.com using the password layoplayer it makes a failed connection
because the password is incorrect. The thing is I'm using the server and password that was assigned to me
when my character was approved. The same thing happens when i use the Layonara Launcher. Does anyone know
the solution to my problem? Thanks for your time.

I just tried it again and now it says I've been banned. I invested a lot of time reading over the player guide to develope my character. It's a shame I can't play. I'm very upset. Still, I hope someone can help turn this around.

Unless you are playing with a CD Key that has been banned before or with a bioware name that has been baned before your IP is not banned.
  I need to know your public key and your bioware name to check on things.

Well my bioware name is Panros. None of my CD Keys has been banned. What's the public key you are talking about?

Panros, I saw in your character thread that you were trying to log in as a DM.  A DM and a Player are not the same thing and after so many attempts you would have automatically been banned.
  I need your Public Key to try to help you out. But in the future, do not try to log in as a DM as this will happen again.

Send that info to Leanthar in a PM by-the-way... do not give out your Public CD Key on the forums or anywhere else for that matter because we use the Public CD Keys to "connect" your characters to LORE.

Well I never ever played NWN online so I don't know how to join up. Anyone care to explain how to join? Also the link
to the public key info isn't working. Sorry I'm such a complete noob at this. Sorry.

To Join:
  play->multiplayer->join lan->ok->direct connect
  For your Public key:
  Your public CD-Key is a unique identifier that Bioware has included so that module scripters could track players and provide you with nifty things like PvP tracking, Death Tokens, and other such fun things!
This CD-Key is not your full CD-Key by the way, it's just eight letters and/or numbers taken from your original NwN CD-Key. There is no way someone could figure out your real CD-Key from just these eight characters. Also to note on this is that Layonara already uses your public CD-Key but does not advertise it anywhere and only a restricted few actually have access to the information. There is only one place on the entire LORE site where your public CD-Key is shown and that's when you're editing your user preferences (which only you can see of course).
The following are the site features where your public CD-Key is used to provide you with a better and more immersive experince within the Layonara community:

• Link your site account with your NwN characters
  • View your full character stats and general information, everyone else sees just your general information.
  • CD-Keys allow the site to show all of your characters (linked to their CharacterIndex page) and the bioware account(s) you use at Layonara with your LORE profile. For example: OneST8 and orth.
    
  • The ServerStatus pages will link your bioware account names to your site profile instead of linking your bioware name to a search in LORE for that name.

  Read through the posts above. You need to send that information to me (as stated above) because YOU are the one that got yourself banned by trying to log in as a DM. OneST8 and I are trying to help you out here. Send me the info and I will see what I can do, but I do not guarantee how soon I can get to it as it is getting late.

Well I made an account on LORE and under my preferences I put the CD Key. Hopefully we can fix this. Thanks for your guys help so far. Sorry if I seem ungrateful I'm just a little bit annoyed how I messed up in the first place.

On the next update/reboot (some time today) we will edit the ini file to remove your banned key. We can only do it when the servers are down.
