Lost Level gain/xp on recovery

Twixel had gained enough xp to lvl and was killed in a battle shortly after before he could get to a resting place that is proper for leveling. Quantum was able to perform a raise dead and help me escape but after resting from recovery I had lost the lvl and 10k in xp. This was my first death of the day, I know I lose xp after a 2nd death within a time frame.
Date this happened was 11-25-05 in the Krandor Crypts.
To update, Talan mentioned it might be a bug so I read the death system in the handbook and forum and everything happened accordingly except the cost of 9600xp - which after going back in the log that was the exact cost of xp.
It cost Quantum the 5000xp to raise Twixel but he is only an unfriendly follower of a diety deity and not enemy diety and it cost Twixel the soul stone but it also took 3% of the xp needed to gain the lvl( 9600) at that time from Twixel and if I understand it right that would only happen if Twixel had died a second time while in recovery and had a raise dead performed. If I am wrong I apologize.

Do yuo recall how you were brought back to life the last time you had died.  Which was at Celestia-Lunia on November 12?

It appears as though a flag was not set on your character that you had recovered from the previous death, which is very odd.

the server was exceptionally crashy and those two deaths were in that mass of crashes. I brought him back the last time with the dm tool.

I thought that's when that was.  I think a combination of him dying three times and the crashes and the DM Heal probably mucked the system a touch.  THanks Ice.

I have tried loosing xp in this manner too. But it is a long time ago. I died twice within 5-10 min and lost 25k exp; If i remember correctly the server wasn't excatly really laggy at the time so there might be a bug somewhere.

Dying twice in 5-10 minutes without recovering and losing xp is normal as per the death system.

The most you've ever lost is 16,000xp on October 29.

Maybe i am just confusing some numbers... I though I lost that much but the date you are mentioning seems to be the right one... But it really doesn't matter because I can't prove anything no screenshot and I wasn't going to complain about it ethier.
Also I just remembered that I would loose xp if I died two times within a very short time therefore I deleted the post pretty quick.
