Possible Bug with Prayer

Hola!
Last night as Tha'Azail, Owen, and Iradril were leaving the Broken Forest a fighter looking type entered it.  I warned him that the undead had been unusually strong that evening and then cast prayer on him to help him get through.   When I cast prayer the thunder cloud, etc.  appeared like I had cast curse instead.  I assumed this is what would happen if I tried to Bless, or in this case Pray for someone that was an enemy of Aeridin and thought no more of it. I logged off not too long after that.  (the event occurred around 11:30 EST and I logged around 12:15 or so EST)  I checked in the server status, out of curiousity, to see who he worshipped, and it was Ilsare.  So,  is this a bug, or has there been a shift in the heavens Tha' should be aware of?
(sorry I can no longer remember the fighters name.)

[orange]You weren't in party. Prayer considers anyone outside party an enemy and thus he got the negative effect. No bug really just how the spell works.

Yikes. I did not realize that.  I will be more carefull with that spell in the future.  Thanks for the quick response.

yeah be careful with that spell when crafting I was doing a little woodwork when all of a sudden my stats all dropped and my attempt failed someone cast prayer on themself to buff for crafting

Prayer does not affect any ability scores.

The other player may have cast Prayer as an RP means to hope for good luck form his deity for the craft and inadvertently affected you.  But it would not affect your scores.

prayer doesnt affect stats and thusly has no effect on crafting.  I dont know why some people cast it before crafting other than that their characters are superstitious and its like a "pray for this craft attempt to succeed" hehe.

Wouldn't that make it difficult to scribe? with the desk moving so fast.....
