This only started last week but for some reason EVERY time I switch to another server and I go to log in, on the character selection screen it ALWAYS crashes. Every single time.
So i'll get on a ship and it'll say please connect directly to (#) at blah blah blah and so on. then i'll go to log in, get to the character selection, then it crashes. But works when I reload the game. Anyone else been having this problem or is it just me?

Same here Bryantiza. Sail - boot - logon - charscreen - crash. :p
I always shutdown the game completely now and restart it to logon to another server. I reckon ye should post this in Bug reports; maybe somone has an answer to it. Cheers

This happens to me too.  I'd also say its a safe bet that its biowares fault  I just exit out of NWN most every time I leave to rejoin a server.

It doesnt happen as consistently at the same time (charscreen) for me but its a fair bet that it'll crash within 5 min of changing servers without restarting nwn.

I'm going to jump on the bandwagon because I experience the same troubles.  Drives me nuts, because I don't have a lot of RAMM, so just shutting down the glitched NWN takes a soild 3 mins or more.

How often are you guys changing servers that this is a major major headache?

This is assuredly a bioware issue, perhaps related to the size of our haks, but regardless.

Take a break, shut nwn down, visit the facilities, eat, walk the dog, start it back up, make a coffee, kiss your significant other, return to game.

Just saying in the grand scheme of things, even if it took 10 minutes to change servers, it's all worth it eh?

This happens to me if I try and get back after switching servers or from any crash or server reset.

It's just a simple close of NWN and re-open for me everytime.  I have had this happening for over a year now... maybe even back in Version 1.  Din't figure it was an issue that could be fixed, and it was never a really huge deal to close and re-open NWN for me.

I get similar lockups if I log off and on a few times in a short period. I would say it is safe to say it is a bioware problem, as I have experienced it with less hak intensive servers.

OK that never happens to me? Is it my Mac?

The only thing that does happen is when I die I get booted but I just figured that its a Mac thing?
