While waiting for Character approval

When waiting for your characters approval couldn't you have characters set up so people could get some idea of what Layonara is like, when you log in for the first time then have to sit around for hours waiting for permission to play can be very off putting.

Another option is to read through the rules to make sure your character will get approved on the first attempt. Read through the submission rules and the rules of the server during that period.

When you find players who don't take the time to read the rules (like for example, what's required to submit a Drow here), or haven't even spent a lot of time thinking about their character and just want to go kill things and powerup, it can be equally off putting for those already involved in the world...
