Weaponmaster Prestige Class

Where may I veiw the statistics and other information for the Weaponmaster Prestige Class?   I checked under Game information > Layonara Prestige Classes but Weaponmaster was not listed.  I am interested in possibly evolving my fighter character in this direction but want to do a bit of research first.  I have gotten some information but I would like to see the official word.

I would suggest using the description when you level.  The description inside of the book and online do not cover the changes and the book has alot of incorrect information.

I've heard something about a bug with the 10th lvl of the Weaponmaster prestige class, that you wouldn't get the extra +1 to attack rolls with your Weapon of Choice as listed, so i've frequently seen people only taking 7 levels of Weaponmaster... It's really up to the player wether you want to take x or y levels of WM, though...

it's not a bug.  People MISS READ the description.  Weapons master, every 5 levels you gain plus 1 to your weapon of choice, epic weapon masters you gain an ADDITIONAL plus 1 for every 3 levels beyond 10.  So,  In short, for every 3 levels after 10 you gain 1 ab with weapon of choice, and every 5 levels of WM after 10 you gain 1 ab for weapon of choice.  This does work correctly.

I just checked, and it doesn't work that way. When you take the 10th level of Weaponmaster, you get an increase to your Base Attack Bonus, as supposed, but not the extra +1 from the Superior Weapon Focus feat, as listed in the manual. Also, after every 3 extra levels since the 10th level of Weaponmaster, you get a +1 to your AB, so this is correct. However, after each 5 levels of Weaponmaster since the 10th, you DON'T get a +1, perhaps you confused with the Base Attack Bonus increase after level 20 once you are Epic, which increases by +1 after every 2 levels, regardless of which class you take. Check the chart on your nwn game manual, or HoTU manual, page 60.

You get the superior weapon focus once at lvl5. That's +1.

You don't get anything special at lvl10.

You do get +1ab for the weapon of choice every 3 epic WM levels though instead of every 5 like the manual says.

i have a level 40 wm rogue fighter. with 25 levels WM, he gets plus 20 somethings AB. Minus epic focus and focus, that's still over 10 AB from WM weapon of choice, it does work that way.  I'll check on these numbers shortly, as soon as the quest is over.  I could be wrong.

you're right.  However, it does say an additional plus 1 after level 10 for every three levels.  how odd.

Yea, so this confirms that either there is an error with the manual, or the 10th level of WM is bugged, although it's more likely to be the class... And yeah, as it was written above, you do get an extra +1 to attack rolls with your weapon of choice for every 3 weaponmaster levels after 10th, lvl 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28 of Weaponmaster.

it's a bug, me thinks.
