What does that little "- L" at the end of my subject on my character submission mean?

That was started a long time ago by character approval GM's. It means that the GM that looked it over felt it was beyond their right to approve and left it to Leanthar to make the final descision.

Another question that's been eating at me. Is the Character Development forum open to anyone for the creation of stories surrounding their character? Or is it just for suggesting CDGs?

Hmmm. I'm not sure of the specifics concerning that but I would "assume" that it is open to anyone wishing to further develop their character or provide other players insight into their life. It shouldn't have to revolve around a GM turning it into something though who knows. A GM might just be spured into doing just that if it catches his attention.

The developement forum is just that, it's there for you to put your characters story down, some thoughts, maybe some inner mentations that the DM's and players associated with you might not be completely aware of. It is also a good idea that if you plan to have your character take any PrC levels that you have a thread in the developement forum to give the DM team an idea of what your character has done that would lead them to a prestige class.

Some people do it just to flesh out thier characters a bit, others do it specifically for attaining PrC's either is fine.

Same. Just to prepare you though that if Leanthar doesn't check it within the next hour or so it's unlikely that he will check it tonight. By then it'd be about 11 pm for him. He is pretty good on his tasks though so you should definatly not have to wait to long into tommorow. Good luck!!
