Which level does a paladin get its second level spells.

If he has a wis of 14 or higher.  If not he gets it at 10

oh, yeah... you get a second first level slot at 6 right? Or am I wrong *cries* Paladins are so hard!
Does that take into account any racial bonus when determining what level you get spells? for example:
Your Aasimar paladin has a 'natural' wisdom of 12, +2 for the race =14. Are your spells determined after the racial adjustment or before?

Level 4 for first level spells if your wis is 12 or higher, otherwise its 6

Yeah,

Pally's and Rangers are the two classes with the largest number of stats that are important to them.

Rangers need:
Dex (since they must wear light armor, and for archery if they choose)
Str (for damage and to hit if they're not finessers)
Con (all warrior classes need hp)
Wis (for spells)

Paladin's need:
Cha (pretty much all their abilities are linked to cha modifier)
Str (attack and damage, I dont think we'll see a finessing paladin any time soon heh)
Con (Hp)
Wis (spells per day)


Also, if your wis isnt 10+x, x being the level of the spell, you wont be able to cast the spell.  Therefore, if you dont have a wis of 14 you wont be able to have all of your spell levels.
