Half-giant Druid of Grannoch.
« on: July 07, 2005, 04:04:00 PM »
I was sitting here wondering about creating a new character. And half-haint druid seemed like a nice idea for my character.  And Grannoch being the main patron/deity for Giants, that too made sense. But...since Grannoch isnt really a tree hugging kind'a of deity, i did'nt know if he had any druids. But Grannoch is amongst others, the god of lightning, and elemental magic etc. I thought about creating a Druid with purpose of balance in the elements. His purpose being keeping those forces in balance.
Normally cleric would chose an element of his choice, but since im a druid that too ould make sense. He uses all elements in his path to keep balance...do i make sense?. COmments please.

Druids don't have to be tree-huggers.  Read the Layo description of druids.  They're quite diverse, in fact.

I do not see why that should not work out. Submit your character and see. :)

i was referring to Grannoch. Not Druids. My question is if it would be plausible to find a Grannoch Druid in the world of Layonara..

I cannot see any reason why not! Go for it!

Grannochs most presence currently is felt within the Berhagans at the temple

Again, druids are a vastly diverse group.  That the druid follows Grannoch or any other diety is secondary to the fact that they receive their druidic powers from the forces of Nature.  Grannoch's domains, description and dogma would seem an ideal choice for a half-giant druid.

I say go for it.

Playing a druid myself, I think it sounds great.

Would be alot of fun to RP with that char. I echo the sentiments and say go for it.

I once had a Druid of Pytechron. Kinda. He was a dwarf. Worshiped destruction. Not the lets go destroy villages type of destruction... but as in... nature's wild destructive nature. So Pytechron was the god that most closely fit at the time. The pantheon was pretty undeveloped back then.

He was pretty cool. He was CN and wore metal armor to get a charge every time he cast a lightning based spell. Oh, and he was kinda retarded mentally.

Good times.
