A Few SeaElf Thoughts and Ideas

I don't know all you have done for the Sea elves, but just from the little bit I know, I think they are pretty cool, I hope these thoughts help out if you think the subrace ever needs a bit of tweeking at all since it's so new.

Since the Elves are currently being forced from the sea, they would still retain all of their habits and ways, so, wouldn't their magic be more water-based?

By this, I mean they would avoid fire-based spells for wizards, at least for a long while of playing, then maybe they may adapt to the surface ways.

And their summons would be the Water Mephit through the Water Elementals regardless of diety or alignment, rather than Celestials or Golems.
Any cleric of Shindaleria should automatically get the Animal domain for more powerful water summons due to their close ties and greater understanding of the water.
If a cleric of the sea elves worships any other God for some odd reason, they would not get the Animal domain.

And just because of where they come from, shouldn't they get...like....+15 to all swim checks? I know it's only really used to hop between places most of the time on any one specific area, but it just kinda makes sense.

 I would agree they'd not go for fire based spells, no.

 Summons for mages are alignment based across the board.

 The shindaleria summons can be found in the handbook.

If you need swim checks on GM run events I am sure they'll take into account the nature of sea elves.
