Thanks for cool quest continued from the prelude.  It is going to be an interesting one.  I had fun.

Sorry for Owen being so quiet there about halfway through.  I had work on the phone at the same time.  My phone is getting turned off next Monday!

Thanks all!  I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves.  I know I enjoyed running it. :)

You all did a great job of working together as a group and playing to your skills and such.  And you made some good choices as well....which is a good thing! And thanks for making my first official Layo quest one to remember!

Extra thanks goes to Lalaith for being the party leader and keeping things under control...and helping me out with a delay or two. :)  Also extra thanks goes to Duradin for being my willing prop and hapless victim of the evil, nasty Cult.

Also thanks to everyone who could not join for their understanding regarding the party size limits and for accepting the results....and thanks to IDii for running an impromtu quest for those left out.

A good night all around, if a bit laggy.

Just a friendly warning for next time....I was coming down with something last night, so I wasn't at 100%.  However, as soon as I feel better, I'll start cooking up the next batch of goodies to throw at you all. *evil GM chuckle*

Thanks Aether and everyone.  This was my and zerpa's first ... successful .. quest, and it succeeded in showing zerpa (who has been on the fence about all this) what all the fuss was about.  She loved the way the group worked together, and she got into the RP, even the waiting around the campfire part.

The highlight for me was when I was trying to stealth my way around the fighter & druid, and the fighter saw me and confronted me, making it necessary for me to talk for the group (I was the closest).  It was nerve-jangling on a few different levels .. not wanting to let down the group, not wanting to die on the spot, etc.  First time I've had to think on my feet in all this, which really brought home the coolness of having a human GM, with flexible situations and puzzles.

    Thanks again.

I can speak from some experience that Aether will keep the nerve jangling to an all time maximum.  I thought just about everybody did a superb job, and I think it was server lag, not GM lag that slowed us down. My opinion only.  "performs above expectations..."  we'd say in the army...
