Rules I didnt know

Ok everytime i have asked for a reimburstment or something they tell me they cant do it becuase of some rule i didnt know about and didnt read anywhere on this site(even though it might be somewhere and i just missed it). So i am going to list them and hope you all list some that you have learned so others might not get killed or mess something up from not knowing them.

1. Traps can be on npc doors and they can do alot of damage one did 67 damage to me(i play a paladin and its my only character so i know nothing about traps )
2. Paladins have to have 14 wisdom at lvl 8 to get lvl 2 spells
3. When you are recovoring from dieing you dont get xp from crafting
4. There are no stool deads anymore
5. Cant get a rebuild for your character even though you didnt know something(after i found that out i read where it is posted)

Well, you're playing in a world that is full of monsters. Some people are going to be paranoid about their homes.

Bioware, and the 3rd Edition Ruleset made this choice, not the DM team.

That was posted in the Death on Layonara threat under the Server forums.

Ask them to be replaced.
5. Cant get a rebuild for your character even though you didnt know something(after i found that out i read where it is posted)
I've wanted to get a rebuild on every single character I've made here. But you can't without a good roleplayed cause. Layonara isn't about a tweaked character that is perfected in every way. Deal with your character's flaws and develop RP around them.

What 8bit stated and in addition.
  "...4. There are no stool deads anymore..."   Just ask us, did you ever ask?  I am quite positive a GM would have given them back to you in game.  As to "anymore" that is incorrect, it is a bug that will get fixed.
  Why do I get the sense that everything going bad/wrong recently for characters are the fault of the "GM Team"? It gets old guys/gals, we try our best and clearly for a few here it is not good enough...The team can only handle so many accusations before we throw up our hands and say enough is enough. 
  That statement was not pointed at just this thread but a lot of things that have happened in the past week or so....

Ok i didnt post this to rant or anything i posted it so others that didnt know this stuff or whatevr others post will find out about it. And i dont care about the stool deed i just posted it so other woodcrafters wont try and make one till it is fixed.

6. you can die trying to climb the rock things

i have heard both you can and  you cant so i found out for myself yesterday by trying to climb with both armour and weapons on

there were no dms on at the time so they couldnt answer my question

They were removed an update or two ago.  Cant remember the date.

They were removed because they were exploitable and were being exploited by players and it was not being reported as a bug.  At that point we just removed them.  We will probably go back and add something like them in again but it will take time to get them recoded and working properly.

I got my only death token on one of L's quests forever ago. It was during beta and we were in the Underdark to talk to a dragon.

At the time L was quite fond of using Rust Monsters. Fond enough that it made me and ID rather paranoid. Paranoid enough to take my armor and weapon off, which were my pride and joy.

So I'm walking through the underdark, kinda in the back of the party, playing healbot, which I can do if I'm in the mood. Unarmed. Unarmored. Mostly out of fear my toys will be eaten by a random beastie.

When suddenly a spawn occurs which was quite famous after that point in beta... which was this really quick spawning pack of drow which spawned in the front and back and started horrid wilting everyone as well as beating them down with the weaponmaster guadians.

A couple weaponmasters got on me and with my massive AC 10 I was dead in about 5 seconds.

Got my only token.

Had I been not paranoid, and had my armor on I would have been able to fend them off without much worry. So I see it as karmic retribution. I was so worried about losing material goods that upon death, Dorand punished me with a loss of part of my soul. Which in the end, is worth much more. Lessons can come in all sorts of forms.

Hey, the best way to learn it is doing it wrong the first time. I believe that's the way of life.
