On the back of a scrap piece of malar hide, written in what appears to be red ink against the black skin: "Due to the fact that malar panthers are scarce, making it difficult for me to collect enough skins to make bags for sale to multiple individuals, I have come up with a new selling strategy, as outlined below. For anyone that doesn't know, these fine bags reduce the weight of what is carried inside significantly ((-80%)). If an individual, or individuals, brings me the supplies to make two bags, I will make my best attempt to do so. I am quite a skilled tailor, and with the aid of certain items and spells from my comrades, my chance of success is fairly high ((80%)).
If I am successful at making both bags, we each keep one. If I only succeed at one, then the individual keeps it. There is no monetary charge for the attempt, regardless of the outcome, but the invidual supplies ALL materials. The supplies needed for EACH bag are as follows:

- 8 malar skins
- 24 salt
- 8 tanning acid
- 8 tanning oil
- 1 cloth pattern (or two cotton)
- 1 spool of thread (or two spider silks)
- 4 enchanting oils
