I have a few wonderful things to say.

For starters, the group I was with was admirable, even though they didn't really follow orders too well... Ah well, they aren't dwarfs.

We were hunting Lizards... I was about 2k away from level 8, got me up to 50 till level 8. Which was a good thing. Had an awesome time, too, because it wasn't just kill kill kill, there was so much RP involved there... And then resting and waiting for the sun, sitting around doing nothing. Too bad they all had to go to sleep. Ah well.

So, I went to the crafthall, leveled up making small molds out of clay. Put a point in wisdom so that Turor isn't a stupid git anymore. Put a point in discipline. Saved the rest for tumble. Oh, took Improved Power Attack too. Makes mining that much faster.

Went to leave after turning all my clay into molds. Or most of it anyways, I got REAL lucky... On a 35% chance, I made... like, 50% of the molds or more. Which made me smile.

I was mining copper with my level 3 friend that I immersed into the server last night. Aleister was with us, showing Arimill a thing or two since Arimill got the game... what, a week ago? If that? Aleister showed up, anyways, and I said 'If you stick around, I'll give you some minerals, blah blah blah'. Turned out alright.

Went back to the surface, he disappeared, I logged off, forgot to give him the minerals. And I'm very, VERY happy I did.

Very happy. Yes.

I washed them after leveling up. I got an Aventurine. Yaaay. An Aventurine. And a very VERY pretty mineral emerald.

Level eight has been good to me... Figured I'd brag.

  No no, when you level, have a good crafting day, have fun RPing, and find an emerald, that gives you instant bragging rights for a week. Good to hear someone got lucky.

And of course, since Turor's cheerful halfling buddy/dwarf in training has suffered from a recent string of traumatizing deaths, he will be sharing the love. Right? *looks around* Right?

Fine! Well, at least her soul is still intact after all of those. In your face! Or...someone's face. I want to brag, too.

See, my luck runs the other way, my crafting takes soooooooo long in order for me to progress, but at the same time I only have one DT, which considering the amount of deaths I've had (and im level 9) is quite good!

week of bad luck stemed from the good luck would end up something like this

*runs into the buyer for said emerald in the wilderness and the sale is made then*
*on way to town to deposit the gold (we'll say 90k) something unexpected happens and death occers (instant loss of 45k) death token is gained*
*bind point is in a town with no bank around, upon leaving town stumble on a spawn left by fleeing person and wish weakened stats unable to survive (instant loss of 22.5k)*
*frustrated by this turn of events player decides to sit around untill state effects wear off, while waiting DM event rolls through the town, DM spawns creatures for the event, creatures kill player again, (now auto forced to respawn, instant loss of 11.25k and whatever xp over level 8 player has)*
in utter disgust over losing the 78.75k in gold, and the xp loss, player picks up and throws mouse onto the desk, which then bounces hiting the monater and breaking it (actually you'd have th throw pretty hard, and even still the mouse would likely break first)*

Hah... Nice. No no, Turor's on a streak of really REALLY good luck. And the day is young. I'll have good luck for the rest of the day (Hopefully enough to buy my house, if the bidding goes good... I guess. I dunno). And then? I hide away in my bedroom reading for... a while.

And then an animal jumps on you, making you drop your book, lose your place, it gets chewed up, you cry. And someone snaps a picture of you crying like a sissy and posts it all over the internet. And instead of getting made fun of, you get phone calls asking for you.

I don't get many phone calls. I get on average one per week. The phone call telling me I can have a job was probably the better one.

EDIT: And by better one, I mean this weeks. Wow, I'm out of it. I ought to nap, but I won't in light of... Emerald... thing... *yawn*

Naturally I did nap. Oh well. Hope I get this auction thingy over as soon as possible. There are houses available where I want them to be, and I'm anxious to buy 'em.
