    Drunken ramblings
    « on: August 31, 2005, 02:14:00 PM »
You there pour me another glass of wine. Perhaps I'll sleep better this evening than I did the last, that is of course if Im even awake from last nights repose. It all began rather onimously (Im afraid it always does for me). One minute I'm asleep next to a lovely lady I had met earlier that evening and the next Im freezing cold staring at the largest lizard I had ever seen. Don't stare at me that way my good man, I told you it was a dream I'm allowed to see crazy things in a dream. ( or was it, to be honest with you I'm just not sure). Well either way I walk up to the overgrown reptile which may or may not have been a figment of my over active imagination. Low and behold it batts its scaled eyes at me and begins to speak. It seems the world is in need of my epic prowess with a blade and the quick wit of my tongue (it's words not mine) or at least some world somewhere is. Seeing as how a choice to return home to my pleasantly occupied bed was not made I agreed somewhat reluctantly to help out in this monstrous salamander's battle with something it would only call the Blood. I admit the whole thing seemed a bit strange to me but I figured if there were innocents and lovely ladies being threatened within the landscapes of my dreams the least I could do is try to help them. (Its always been my experience that Damsels in Distress rescued from within your own dreams are always more appreciative than your garden variety Damsels in Distress). So having little other choice I took the path to the north following it until I found a glowing statue (strange though the statue wasnt of me oh well all in good time I suppose). And now I'm here meeting strange people (yourself excluded of course) and exploring the environs all the while hoping to wake up from what seems more and more to be a rather unpleasant dream...
