Just a quick thought. Ive been roleplaying for 13 years now, and have a queery. With the high mortality rate of adventurers parents, would'nt it make sense that most fantasy parents would try their hardest to guide their children away from the adventuring path into something slightly less dangerous for them.....like bottany?

I blame the coldblooded DM's who kills the parents personally.

and lets see I could be a poor commoner all my life, or I could become an adventurer and I can be richer than a king in a matter of months.

Just think of Adventurers as equivalent of Rockstars.
The parents care about the Kids but hey they make oddles of cash and Parents let greeed override their concerns.
