Well, Vivian Elishan makes dresses. (shamless plug)

But really, it works more or less like a CDQ.

There have been several Layo weddings. Check out the movies section for the movie of Brisbane and Plen's wedding.
Location is up to you, there are many lovely outdoor settings as well as indoor venues.  You  could choose to have GM involved or you could do it on your own.
There are plenty of formal clothing options available in the customization area.  Wedding gowns and tuxes.

Go over the Tailor tradeskill list and talk to some of the tailors listed. I bet some will help you make dresses and suits if you ask them.

A wedding could take place at a temple of your god, or perhaps Hlints Court House, or the Hotel Layonara in Pranzis. Or anywhere really that you think fits.

If your an outdoors type, tour the continents and find the spot that looks nice to you.

A party could be held at an Inn or Hotel or again outdoors.

If you want to do it up nice get with a GM I know many of them love decorating for wedding and that.... I did when I was on the GM team... it's fun!

A wedding doesn't have to be done as a CDQ.  In fact in most cases (see L's recent post about CDQs) unless theres something really weird or.. well, weird about the wedding, you shouldn't request a CDQ for it.  If you would like to have a GM do some fun setup for you, just ask one informally if they would like to do it for you and if they're available.  They don't even have to be there for the ceremony, they can just set up and leave.  If the ceremony is being performed by a PC that is heh.

As an example, Ireth and Brit got married in-game on Sunday.  Reventage performed the ceremony in-character.  About 20 minutes before it was supposed to happen, Rev catches me on ICQ...I happened to be at my computer and not doing anything super important.  So I jumped in-game and decorated the back room of the Hlint courthouse, changed the music and presto!  Instant wedding.
Now, that was pure lucky timing, but it is kind of an example of what can be done, and with a little pre-arrangement, a GM can create a nice little setting for you.
And this reminds me...I need to send the happy couple a "gift" (a.k.a. the bill for the flowers) *snickers*

hehe!  I got to do a premarital counseling session recently.  Great fun!  Makes being a cleric worthwhile, even an orc cleric.
