GM Assistance, please

Aralin is in the Seilwood cave with a shield he cannot move around. It was dropped and then recovered, but now it is unable to be equipped or moved. I believe it is tagged by the clean up script and will be lost if he goes through the transition.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

He just lost it. It was an addy kite shield.

I understand that and was hoping to get help, as i had the shield in my inventory, and equiped but could not move it, but it is lost now.

"If this has happened to you, there is only one way to ensure you don't lose your item.  You must adjust your inventory to make room for your shield/weapon, then pick it up.  After you have picked it up, save and immediately log off and back on."

These steps were followed. It lasted for some time and then went away.

If this is indeed the case...if you followed the above process and it still disappeared, then your only course is to file a grievance for the return of the shield.
  And for reference, the clean-up script fires when anyone goes through the transition, not just the person who dropped an item.
