These shortcuts work on my notebook where NWN is installed in the default directory. On my PC I installed NWN to another drive and the shortcuts dont work. The best I could do was to use 8.3 notation for the paths and that got NWN started but it goes to a black screen straight away and crashes.

Regnus, make sure that if there's any spaces in the path (like if you installed to C:\\Program Files) to your NWN folder, you format the "Target" line like this:
"
\\nwmain.exe" +connect
...making sure to do the quotes like I show there.
That's for Windows, of course.

Yeah I tried the quotes and it didnt do anything. Well it gave me a DOS type error that I cannot remember what it was. Thats why I went with the 8.3 format. You know with the ~1 and all that. That was an improvement of sorts that it actually got the program running but it crashes immediately after starting.
Not a big deal as I use my notebook almost exclusively now. I was just wondering if anyone had experienced it before.
Thanks though.
