arrow price and value

When you use the pricing lens on 99 iron tipped, oak shaft, owl feather arrows it says a little over 8000gp. I have seen that same bunch being sold for 1500gp to 2000gp. Others have offered what amounts to about 2gp per arrow 200gp per bunch. Zero' s guide does not address this as of yet, it would be great if it could be included in the next draft. I myself will go with 25% of the lens price, which is 2000gp if in trade. For a gold transaction I would go 1500gp.

This is an issue that has been aroud for a while.  The value on the lens is correct, but you have to find somebody willing to buy them at that price.  Few players want to buy arrows at 150 gp or more per arrow.  My recomendation is this, if you can find a buyer great, if you use arrows consider it a gift otherwise give them to a freind as a thank you.  Most perople using high-end arrows are making their own.  At least this is what I have found to be the normal.  Good Luck.

yes I make arrows and bolts for myslef and my friends. This came up due to a trade offer that was made to me. I have never sold any arrows nor have I ever tried, I use them up to fast to sell

Once a character gets into the teens they will be sending arrows down range pretty fast. Not many are going to spend 80 or more coin per arrow when they are a one use item.


1500 to 2000 for the arrows you mentioned isnt bad. You will stil be hard pressed to find a buyer, as you mentioned most serious bowyers make their own. and as you mentioned Arrows can make nice trade material.
