Bronze question
« on: November 03, 2005, 09:38:00 AM »
searched about but cant find an answer.  The question is what exactly are the bronze weapon bonuses.  I think there is a damage bonus of +2( type ?) but is there also a to hit?  and from what i can find elemental enchantments don't add on.  If anyone can tell me for sure I would be most thankful.

Thanks in advance

This was just recently discussed in another active thread.
Bronze weapons provide a +2 to damage ONLY
They do NOTHING for your AB
Enchantment rods overwrite the damage bonus. This means that for purposes of level requisites, bronze and copper have the same level requisites once an enchanted rod is added to them. The only differnce is that the bronze weapon takes more time and is more expensive to make.

EDIT:  yeah, the other guy beat me to it... so here it is repeated.  Bronze weapons come with some added physical damage (think it's piercing), so yeah, adding elemental damage will cause you to lose that other damage bonus.  plus, bronze >only< has added damage, there is no bonus to hit with it.

Bronze weapons add 2 points of Piercing or Slashing or Blunt or a combination of them depending on the weapon.
