Have not been around much recently

Hi everyone. As some may have noticed (I wont be offended if you say you havn't
), I have not been around much in the last few weeks. I have logged on a couple of times for an hour or so, but not as much as I used to do. I have not left or drifted away, or been abducted by aliens, or gone to play The World of Warcraft'. I have been very busy with my other hobby; I coach, manage and play in a mens rugby team, as well as help coach my sons rugby team. It has taken up a lot of my time. Time I would have probably used to be playing in Layonara. It has been quite a wrench to stop myself from logging on, and would be unfair to the rest of my family if I did so as much as I used to, as I am committed to other things. Hopefully things will settle down, and I will be able to meet up with you guys again soon. Until then I will hope to snatch the odd hour in game whenever I can. Until then, to quote the words of the Governor of California (albeit in his other guise as an actor): "I'll be back!"

Oh.....that is what happened to you. I was wondering what happened to my sea-loving friend. Thought some pirates or sharks got you.
Good to hear that you are alive and well.
Hopefully we will see you soon, but in my opinion rugby is as good a pass time as Layonara. Coming for a big springbok supporter like myself, I guess that does not come as a surprise. I would love to get into playing competetive again, but ones body cant take the knocks anymore. Do play the occasional touch still.
Enjoy it and I guess we will see you more ingame in the off-season.
P.S. where is your money on the weekend.....England or Australia?

Really miss the place, I will be on when I can. Besides I need to buy a new bow off of you.
Gotta go for England; but Australia will be a handfull after the French gave them a good run last weekend. But have to admit, the All Blacks looked awesome against the Welsh.

Pete, the All Blacks look unbeatable, it always seem they have another gear they can shift to.
As far as Australia go, if England gives them a beating, which I think they will, Australia would have equalled their longest losing streak (last done in 1969 I think). The Layo guys down under are very quiet, they must not follow rugby.
Yes, Cole rugby is similiar to footbal, just much less stop-start and the guys wear much less padding. I personally think rugby is a much faster game and more skill is needed than football (but that is just my opinion).
Freemen, you must have watched another game than me. The French beat Australia 26-16.

*grins at Harloff* You said it and I agree. Rugby is not big in Denmark? You guys play the other "not for real men" sports, like soccer?

Correct, I know only of a few towns with rugby teams, I even think amarican football is bigger but i guess it is related to the cooler names the teams get: "triangle razorbacks", "sønderborg patriots", "Esbjerg hurricanes" etc.. All the teams use these english names most of them together with a name of a dansih city, which makes it sound very funny to me. In comparison rugby clubs are called "name of the city" rugby club.
In comparison all cities and villages have soccer teams, even I one of the least sport fanatic persons in the world have played soccer for a whole season.
But my favorite sport is handball... perhaps because we have a team called "slagelse dream team" *grins* I can't help but wonder who comes up with these names...
