Another week maybe and I'll be back in the states. Lots of bureaucratic hoops to jump through here in Japan. A lot more than in America, that's for sure. It's a cultural thing. Lower offices aren't delegated any authority, so every issue has to climb the chain of command and that usually takes a week or so.
