Storyteller's Night
« on: November 19, 2005, 07:04:00 PM »
I would like to say thank you to all who were involved in this installment of the Storyteller's Night. The audience, the performers and Vyris for setting up the stage area.

Hope you all had a good time :)

You are very welcome, please let me know when the next one is, and I'll set the stage for you again no problem.

Gah! I knew I was missing something on Layo this night, I just couldn't remember what. I expect each and every story to be published or at least the authors so I can hunt them down and force them into giving a performance!

Yuhhhhhhaarrgh. Argh. And argh again. And... Yeah. When I went out with stuff to do earlier and found I had more things to do than I'd counted on, I thought "Do I have time to do them before running back for Storyteller's Night?" and misquoted the time to myself... so the answer was, you know. No.  :o

Chalk another "Doh" up for me...

I am going to start a thread to post the entire night's stories so that everyone can at least see the effort that the performers put in.  It will just take me a while to clean up my log :)

Yes, a big thank you to everyone who performed. Since I never make it to the quests, this was a terrifically entertaining way for me to find out what's happening in some of the recent plot quest series. I've asked around for information, but usually the answer is so brief it's impossible to understand in context. (So and so was killed? Is that a good thing?) Even the non-quest stories and songs were very engaging and high quality. Having a bard character, I appreciate all the work that goes into something like this. And I appreciated the nice venue as well, where I could hear what was going on, without too many side conversations intruding.

Well done everyone, and thank you.
