A note from a new member.

I absolutely have to say in forum that this is the most incredible server and use of NWN I have ever seen.
As a veteran of other online games, all the eye-candy and inevitable "treadmilling" do not hold a candle to this group. Documentation, forum help, everything is high and tight.
Even playing alone....you feel you actually RP'd!
The thought of actually adding content without adding to peoples' scripting chores is also of interest.

I have promptly cancelled my other accounts *got tired of seeing purchased characters* and focused my game time to adding what I can to this persistant marvel. Playing or otherwise.

I may seem *over*enthusiatic but I have not enjoyed myself this much since my last face-to-face get together and they are rare now.

Now to begin nudging others I know with NWN over here....I know two excellent (Rolepayers) players right off the bat. Yet I feel dumb fotr never seeing this before...ah well.

Rock on.  This is bar-none the closest I have ever come to the PnP RP experience online, even beyond the 'muds' and 'muks'.

I agree, I even prefer layo for several reasons, being that you can play whenever you want rather than at arranged times, there is the visual element that you don't really get with the PnP games, and there are a lot more players (thousands...) as opposed to the select group you usually get with PnP. :)

FISH! ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY FISH! The sacred oil of jubilations secreted in deep places frothing with watery doom.... Such sweet melodies of smell greet my nostrils in the place of the mighty aquatic pidgeon.
