Unable to log in

I am unable to log in.  I get the message that the character is invalid due to having an item equipped with too high a level.  I've gotten no new items for a long time, so this must be a new restriction, unless it's an out and out bug.

If this IS a new restriction, I imagine most likely the problem is my iron bastard sword, though possibly it could be my mage armor helm.  I also have an iron shield, copper full plate and lesser ogre power gloves.

We are thinking this may be exceptional items but are not entirely sure at this time. 
  The invalid character module is now running, please log in to that module and unequip everything.  Then log out and log in to the real server and equip everything again, let us know what is no longer allowed to be equipped.

ummm. Others are able to log in to it and just did.  Let me go look again.  You have downloaded the invalid character hak from the website right? And you are trying to log in to

Yes, the port is important. You need to specify it.

I have found another minor issue.  When I tried to log into the invalid character module, I received the message I was missing the required hak -- invalidchar2da.hak it must have been.  I discovered that in fact I had INVALID_CHAR_2DA.hak in my hak directory, which is the file provided with the all in one hak rar I downloaded when I recently began playing.  I obtained the proper hak by downloading just the invalid character rar.

My mistake about the port.  Sorry, L.  As others have reported, my armor is now unidentified.

Thank to all for the superhuman response times on the various (few) issues I've encountered.  One of Layonara's great features.
