Underworld Evolution!

*he laughs* Seeing the trailer for this new film to be released in January, here, in the States has been like the icing on the cake for me, today (in football: my college team, the University of Kansas Jayhawks, pulled off a dramatic come-from-behind upset victory over nationally ranked Iowa State, beating them in overtime, 24-21 - thus making KU eligible for a Bowl Game in December).  

Underworld, in which Kate Beckinsale starred as a dark heroine of a vampiress, is one of my favorites!  I know trailers are designed to sell films - but now I can't wait till opening night in January!  I hope the local theatre does one of those midnight showings for the first day it's available.

And.....the Denver Broncos (professional football, for those outside of the States) beat the Dallas Cowboys, in Dallas on Thanksgiving Day (very very hard to do....Dallas always hosts a Thanksgiving Day game, which they usually win) by the same score, 24-21, in overtime in that game!  Truly, my life as a sports fan is becoming a bit surreal.  

Now if only KU's basketball team can pull it together and bring us home a National Championship in April....and the Broncos a Super Bowl Trophy in January...*he laughs* well, this is part of my sports "wish list"  for next year.

Local - Baraboo My son Kekoa played Defensive End (first year) and got a sack in 8 of 10 games and didn't play the last #11. Proud Dad Here

Just checked on the espn.com pages, Zen - Hawaii is in the WAC (Western Athletic Conference).

I had asked this because I know there had been some reorganizations in a couple of the western conferences in recent years, with different schools moving to different conferences.
