Knock Knock

I just wondered if anyone knows if the spell 'knock' works in Layonara or has it been disabled and as such is only a RP spell?  Just that I've never seen it work...ever

actually, I've seen it work quite a few times.  But it's a funny spell.  you have to give it a second or two before you check the door.  plus, I can't quite recall if you're supposed to cast it on yourself or on the door.  Ask Rayenoir (Yardislan is adept as using the spell) exactly how it works.

It worked last time Brac used it. You don't cast it on the door or on yourself but on just some tile. After you cast it, there will be a brief white light effect on the locked door (if you're in range, but the range is quite large, so should work).

hmmm must be doing it wrong then...I'll try again and see what happens

It doesn't always work. Which isn't necessarily bad. A rogue is much more reliable.

This is why my scroll of knock is an "if all else fails" fallback.
