Prestige Class - Assassin

Hello all I was wondering if it was at all possible to have a PC enter the assassin prestige class if it fit his character (No it's not Panros but a new one in mind)? My idea is that the character views himself useful for being an assassin and nothing else because that is all he knows. Exiled from his home he struggles to rediscover his identity and accept who he was and has now become. Plus the death attacks would be nice against the creatures.

Since assassins have a requirement of evil I don't see this being a likely possiblility. Players are allowed to go evil here eventually but no character will be approved as such and it will take a long time (some have been working that way for RL years) as well as need approval from Leanthar and probably many cdqs to make the alignment shift.
