    Full Name: Folio Jade
    Age: 125
    Class(es): Fighter/ Sorcerer
    Race: Elf
    Subrace: (If Any) Wood
    Alignment: Neutral Good
    Deity: Kithairien
    2 Domains (if cleric):
    Bio/Description:

Folio Jade is a Wood Elf by birth and grew up in a small village.  At the age 50 her village was attacked by an Orc horde. The Orcs were attacking because one of their clan was killed by a Wood Elf’s arrow. They came into the forest setting everything on fire.   The fire spread rapidly because it was late in the fall and everything was dry. Folio’s family was forced from their home and the trees. When they reached the ground Orcs were everywhere.

It became a fight for survival. Folio’s parents fought bravely but were cut down. Folio was cornered by a few of Orcs. She had remembered seeing others in her clan use magic missiles and she tired to mimic the same gestures and saying the proper words. The Orcs stopped when they heard the words. They waited for the effect but nothing happened. They let out a roar of laughter proceeded forward with weapons at the ready. Folio was now mad more than scared and repeated the same words and gestures. Much to the Orc’s surprise a missile launched out and killed a one. They hesitated and this gave Folio the chance she needed to escape. She ran as fast as she could. The Orcs gave chase.

Folio was darting in and out of trees but the Orcs were gaining, they wanted blood, her blood. She was climbing through a thicket of bushes when she felt a hand grab her. She tired to scream but no sound was heard. She looked around in horror. Much to her relief and amazement there stood a Wild Elf. He motioned to her to be quiet and then stepped out to face the Orcs.

Folio saw there were four Orcs and one Wild Elf. Then an arrow hit the last Orc square in the chest. A new Wild Elf jumped out of a tree with a Bow at the ready. There were now 3 Orcs and at least 2 Wild Elves. A third Elf emerged with a sword drawn. The battle was joined. There was a clash of metal then silence. Folio could hear herself breathing so she knew the spell was gone.

She emerged from the thicket ready to run. Only to see all three remaining Orcs dead and one of the Wild Elves wounded. She went to help. The group quickly gathered together and made a quick escape from the forest. The forest was burning rapidly and with it was the only life Folio had ever known.

The spell caster that had grabbed was named Sym Ja. He and his party had been sent on a quest to find a certain object for his clan. They made their way to Sym’s clan to be healed. Folio did not receive a warm welcome from the clan but after Sym had told the story of how she had killed an Orc and what happen to her clan they took pity on her. Sym’s parents took her in and trained her in the ways of the Wild Elf. She learned to worship Kithairien, to travel lightly and most of all how to fight. The clan’s sorcerer started training her how to channel her powers and to use the spells she had attained.

She grew to love the clan but as with all Wild Elves the day must come when a young adult must prove themselves. On her 125th birthday she was brought to the clan’s elders. The elders informed her that the Orc Clan that had killed her Wood Elf family was still raiding many settlements of all races. The Orc’s leader, Tarrakzan, was the great grandson of the leader who had destroyed the Wood Elf’s village. She must exact vengeance on him. She is to return with necklace that Orc Clan leader wears. Once she has done that she is considered an adult.

Folio Jade has now set off to find this leader and to make her way in the world.

    Hi there
I have a couple of questions/suggestions regarding this character.
Firstly nothing in the bio tells me she should bea wood elf rather than a normal elf. So please take some time to think that over and incorporate that in the bio. The section here contains very useful information regarding wood elves
The first problem with your character being a wood elf is that wood elves prefer not to leave their forests and they will only adventure if something substantial happens or threaten the forest. So you need to explain why she would want to leave. I also find it hard to believe that a group of adventurers, especially dwarves, would enter a village in the treetops or even find it.
Also wood elves usually follow Folian S'pae, but you elect to follow Kitharien, this would need some explanation as well.
I would also like some more information on who she actually manage to cast her first spells. It is not just something that happens, it is usually manifested due to emotional stress or because of something that happens that makes you suddenly cast a spell. So please elaborate on this as well.
Lastly you note that your character is neutral, is that true neutral or neutral good?
      Thanks
