Fishing with a bow? Fishing with a Rod?

For all the fisherman out there. Which is better? A bow or a rod? I was reading the information about the server while I await my character acceptance and am wanting to become a fisherman! How do the 10-50 lb lines make a difference? Is there a more detailed guide on the forums? Thanks all! :0)

WellJacchri use a bow to fish, but then againhe uses a bow for almost everything andhe does notcall himself a fishermen,he fish becausehe needs to eat andhe prefers fish above meat.
  I would say if you want to become a fisherman, you should use a rod. A real fisherman wont use a bow. As far as the difference between 10-50 lbs, well you cant catch certain fish using 10 lbs as the line would just break. So you need to use 50lbs line to catch larger fish.

For fishing it is about lvl 7 I think.

Yes, I've seen that. I was just wondering what the highest attainable was and also what's the highest attainable for each trade? Is there a difference?

Ye learn a bit more wit da rod den da bow.  Tink it has soomtin ter do wit havin more patience, and knowin what kinda bait the little fishy needs.  Helps ye git inter dey wee scaly heads.
