Freldo's Corner: Turquoise Poetry

Freldo takes the stage after a few days absence

*clears throat* Ahem!

I've been convinced, by Sir Justain, to start a book, or books, on various subjects that might be of your, our or my intrest.

I've started small, scribbling on the pieces of paper I find strewn around Hlint and the countryside.  And I've stared dabbing in poetry, since I'm better off with short stories.  Some of the poems may be familiar to you more experienced types.  Here's one of my first attempts at it, please feel free to throw vegetables at me to demonstrate your approval...

The title is:  The Majestic Moose, Part I. Yes, there will be a part II, III, V and a series of prequels.

murmuring in the front

Why no IV?  IV will be so long that it'll be upgraded a number and it'll probably be the last in the series on the moose but will be followed by prequels i, ii and iii - all of which will also be of resounding success.

Let's begin...

*strikes a serious pose and starts in a light tone of voice*

Gashee morphousite,
Thou expungiest quoopisk!
Fripping lyshus wimbgunts,
Awhilst moongrovenly kormzibs.
Bleem miserable venchit!
Bleem forever mestinglish asunder frapt!
Gerond withoutitude form into formless bloit,
Why not then?
Moose.

*bows to mixed applause*

¡¡¡ SPLAT !!!

*woozy*

I'll be at the Arms Inn tonight, maybe there they'll take more kindly to my other poetry.

*Cole sorts through his decks, sitting in the card room, mumbling something about boomerangs and bugbears when he hears a wad of clapping mixed with intermittent crashes coming from the main room.  Leaning back in his chair, he chuckles and mutters to himself*

"I need te teach Freldo how te play cards.  He'll get less junk thrown at him..."
