With Nintento's DS, you can, depending on the game, play over the Internet, or console to console. For console to console, the minimum range is five feet, the maximum is sixty-five feet, and for online play, the Wi-Fi must be setup via the game; only three different Wi-Fi configurations can be saved (Edit:) at any instance. The Wi-Fi configurations are universal for the games that use them. They can be changed whenever, too.
