ear of bird language

The Layo player's guide (p 26) says gray elves often speak the language of birds.

We don't have a bird ear in Layo, It would be a nice thing to have one.

It would not be the same as the animal ear.

I think it would be close enough to be able to use the animal ear to RP this.

Just RP that you don't understand anything from other animals, but you could probably still speak (within the context of a bird language) to others that knew animal languages, since Rangers, Druids and Clerics with Animal domain should be able to know bird language too along with how to speak other languages.

I dont think the character approvers are ok with that idea.

We always can RP something or other...but it just would be nice to actually have a bird ear someday, that's all I'm saying.

It would also be nice to do something besides kill all the birds we came across...couldn't they at least be factioned red but non-aggressive like deer instead of attack on sight? If my character ever gets approved, he'll have heartbreak having to kill all the falcons and owls. The rangers and druids should be having a problem with this too.

This is actually one of the things on my list, oddly enough. It's been there for a while, as there have been a few other things to do, but it is on the list and will be done.
